U.S. Urology Partners Announces Growth Investment from General Atlantic

Leading global investor backs U.S. Urology Partners’ next stage of growth as a comprehensive platform of patient-centric practice management solutions for independent, community-based urology groups

NOLENSVILLE, TN and NEW YORK, NY – 9:00 AM ET April 9, 2025– U.S. Urology Partners (the “Company”) today announced a significant growth investment from General Atlantic, a leading global investor. The investment strengthens the Company’s position as a partner to leading, independent community-based urology practices that enables them to focus on delivering premier care to the patients they serve. Following the investment from General Atlantic, NMS Capital has exited its partnership with the Company.

U.S. Urology Partners helps urology practices of all sizes retain independence and deliver quality care while practicing medicine in their preferred community-based setting. The Company supports its affiliated groups with deep expertise in business operations, data insights, and technology infrastructure to drive improved patient outcomes and satisfaction and to alleviate the substantial administrative burdens that lead to burnout for many U.S. providers. The Company also invests in end-to-end clinical capabilities for both cutting-edge genitourinary oncology – primarily cancer of the prostate, kidney, and bladder, which together account for nearly 500,000 new cases annually in the U.S. – and non-oncology treatment pathways.

Corina Tracy, CEO of U.S. Urology Partners, said, “Since our founding in 2018, U.S. Urology Partners has served as a trusted partner to community-based urology groups across the country. I want to thank the team at NMS Capital for their unwavering stewardship and direction over these years. As we look to our next phase of growth, we are excited to deepen our presence and capabilities across our five existing markets, while expanding into new geographies through affiliating with leading urology practices that share our vision. We are thrilled to enter this next chapter alongside General Atlantic, a partner with an outstanding track record of building and scaling innovative provider organizations across the U.S.”

“We believe U.S. Urology Partners is well-positioned to support a growing desire by community-based urology practices to remain independent as they focus on providing quality patient care and building their businesses,” said Robbert Vorhoff, Managing Director and Global Head of Healthcare at General Atlantic. “We are excited to partner with Corina and the U.S. Urology Partners team as they continue to expand access to advanced therapies and procedures for their physician partners and the patients they serve.”

“We have been compelled by the opportunity for community-based urology to reach more patients,” added Jon Michael Reese, Principal at General Atlantic. “U.S. Urology Partners is unique as a nationally scaled, fully independent, and clinically renowned urology platform. We are excited to support its next phase of transformative growth.”

As part of the transaction, Robbert Vorhoff and Jon Michael Reese will join the Company’s Board of Directors, which will also include substantial physician representation. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Houlihan Lokey served as lead financial advisor to U.S. Urology Partners and NMS Capital.  Ernst & Young Capital Advisors also served as financial advisor to the Company and NMS Capital. McDermott Will & Emery provided legal counsel to U.S. Urology Partners and NMS Capital.
