Mike Whitman is President of GA Credit and a Managing Director at General Atlantic. Before joining General Atlantic, Mike served as a Partner at Iron Park Capital Partners from 2020 to 2023. He was 1 of 3 Partners managing the Atlantic Park strategy. Prior to joining Iron Park in 2020, Mike spent 14 years at Blackstone Credit and its predecessor GSO Capital Partners. From 2007-2019, Mike built out and ran their European alternatives business out of London. Prior to joining GSO in early 2006, Mike worked at Citigroup beginning in 1994. During this time, he worked in corporate finance, leveraged finance and principal investing.
